Moonachie Girl Scout News... Junior Troop 536 led by Joanne Giammona would like to Welcome our new Brownie Troop 555 led by Tina Williams. Tina was a former Girl Scout leader and we are so happy she has returned to volunteer her time once again as our new Brownie Leader, and we also Welcome all new scouts...Madelyn, Samantha and Katelyn...
Troop 536 have earned their first Badges as Juniors GIRL SCOUTING IN THE USA the girls reviewed all about what girls do in scouting and we made GOOD DEED CATCHERS, so that the girls will always remember to follow the Girl Scout Promise and Girl Scout Law. We also held our Halloween Pizza Party in October and worked on our next Badge MODEL CITIZEN the girls will learn the rights and responsibilities of being an American Citizen. They will take part as a Lawmaker and will design rules and regulations for certain situations. Our troop has been lucky this year to have 2 former Girl Scouts join us as Assistants to our Troop 536 we thank Rhiannon Collazo and Anne Claire Macinithal for helping the girls during our meetings.

Moonachie Girl Scouts are looking for NEW LEADERS for our the 2007-2008 year, especially for the Daisy and Brownie Level (Girl Scouts) also of our Tiger Cub Scouts which will take a whole new den and will except all new registered scouts and of the ages starting at 5 years old. Please continue to make scouting available to all the children in or community by volunteering a little time for a great organization.
