Student:
The Trustees of the Moonachie
Scholarship Fund, Inc. have a program of awarding merit scholarships to worthy
Moonachie residents graduating from an accredited secondary school. Each
scholarship application will be reviewed by a panel of judges who in turn will
rate each application and make his/her recommendations to the Scholarship
Committee.
You may obtain an application by
accessing the Borough of Moonachie website at www.Moonachie.us
. Completed applications must be dated, signed by the applicant and high school
principal and then mailed to the following address with your official
transcripts.

Applications will not be accepted
after April 28, 2011. Please give your Guidance Counselor and
Principal sufficient time to prepare your scholarship application packet as
incomplete packets will not be considered for awards.

Dear Student and Parents:
The Borough of Moonachie will be offering one (1) $250.00
Scholarship as part of the Moonachie Municipal Alliance Grant Program. The
contest is open to all graduating high school seniors who are residents of the
Borough and who plan to continue their education as a full or part-time college
student.
The Borough will utilize the services of the Moonachie
Scholarship Fund Inc. to provide the guidelines and to judge the submissions
for this program.
An essay paper, as explained in the guidelines, must be
submitted and received at the Borough Hall no later than Thursday, April 28, 2011
to be considered eligible for the scholarship grant.
