Moonachie Cub Scouts go camping in the park...The scouts had a GREAT time on Saturday, June 2nd.
The scouts first held their annual Crossover ceremony this is where the boys move up to the next level in scouting. We had boys moving up from Tigers into Wolves and Wolves into Bears.
We then had a BBQ, and all the leaders held fun activities like relay races, a game of tug of war and burlap sack races for the kids to enjoy.
As the sun went down and stars lit up the sky, we started a bonfire and roasted marshmallows and everyone grabbed a stick and enjoyed time as a scout, as a family and as an entire community we had finalized yet another successful scouting year, We want to send many thanks and much appreciation to everyone listed here for helping us this year continue scouting for boys in this community and I hope that it continues every year for all our children...and stays around for a long time.
