Department of Public Works

The Department of Public Works is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various services in the Borough. This includes streets and roads, snow removal, pump stations, stormwater compliance, storm drains, parks and lawn maintenance, and property maintenance.

Currently the DPW is located at 7 Willow Street. The new DPW building is located on 1 Industrial Avenue in Moonachie.

Any large yard waste, cardboard, and large recycling (in the correct containers) can be taken to the DPW Monday through Friday, 8am-2:30pm. No garbage is allowed to be taken to the DPW.
